If you're ever in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area, going to Teddy's Juke Joint is a must. I had heard so much about Teddy's before I got there, I wrote a song about it.

True to it's name, Teddy's Juke Joint, is a performer's dream.  The atmosphere is perfect for a great night of blues.  Great music, great food and good home town hospitality will make you a fan of this place.

 Teddy & his wife Nancy make you feel like you just stopped my your favorite uncle's house.  This is a juke joint of all juke joints.  While the band takes a break, Teddy go to his DJ booth and starts to spin records & talk trash.  Good trash that is...everyone's laughing and having an absolute ball.

Teddy is the ultimate host and makes himself available for whatever his guest need. Don't go hear Zachary, LA unless you stop by and see "the house that Teddy built"

Lil Ray Neal

According to Teddy Lil Ray Neal has played in his club for 26 yrs.  Teddy & Lil Ray have a special bond that has kept their friendship strong.   Even though Lil Ray comes from an area rich in muscial talent, he stands out with his rich & mellow sound.  Don't ever pass on an opportunity to catch him on stage and behind the microphone or you'll be sorry.

What a priviledge it was to meet Mr. Johnson.  After having heard the lick that has been placed around the world (Stratch My Back)for so long, I wasn't surprised to hear that he still has it.  They just don't make 'um like him anymore!!!
